It’s 2020, so it’s time to look forward and look back. In 2009 I started the previous version of this site, migrating it from Flash (yup, the first chaoticsequence site was all-Flash) to a homebrew CMS. I started a new set of posts in the homebrew system, and kept up a steady stream of blog entries until Found In Time updates ate all my time.
When I switched to WordPress in 2015, I had two years of older posts in the homebrew system that I figured I’d migrate “someday.” Well, a mere five years later, I’ve finally gotten around to it. Over the next couple of weeks, you’ll see some older posts by me. Feel free to laugh or cry – some of these posts have aged better than others.
Looking forward, I just came off of curating a short film screening series at the Downtown Bohemian Festival in Rahway. Curating a set of films was a new experience for me, and it was fascinating to see a set of short films from this perspective.
